WE INVITE CHILDREN (8-15 YEARS OLD) TO EXPERIENCE REAL LIFEA AS NATIVE AMERICAN AT THE “YOUNG WOLVES CAMP”
This cognitive adventure camp is going to be full of impressions and new experiences. You are going to experience the life as Native American; travel back the time and every day is going to be worth of waiting and unforgettable.
By attending rituals you will experience the vivid and rich Native American world, its culture and history. By living in the tents TIPI you will meet the nature and its cycle, learn the art of footprints, how to make Native American handicrafts – dream catchers, mandalas, amulets – learn about their meanings, and finally you will make your own weapons – spear, bow and arrows.
We will go on the adventure down by the river like the real Indians – with kayak and canoe; we will learn the art of horseback riding and how to understand these animals. We will travel the mysterious roads in forests and fields; as well we will get more familiar with the Mother Nature and her gifts. We will have a chance to learn how to make up the Indian bath, and will learn many other traditional tricks and games.
The real life of Native Americans is built up on courage, respect, trust, generosity, love to all the surroundings, as well self-sufficiency, and keeping the word. You will get to experience and cultivate these traits by training yourself with weapons – bow and spittoon shooting, and spear and tomahawk throwing. You will learn the art of the self-defense, will attend the contests, perform in active and mind training games, various team and individual exercises.
During the camping time you will learn what did the “Gran Ku” mean to the Native Americans and how did they earn it. Moreover, you will experience many other surprises and have fun with drums, songs, and dances around the fire!
